New technologies and more than 250 musicians in Gran Teatre del Liceu
Spaces:
A space suitable for the broad spectrum of artistic and technical resources required by the work had to be searched. The Gran Teatre del Liceu of Barcelona is the only stage in the area that fulfills these conditions.
Libretto:
The texts of the work are in seven languages: Catalan, Spanish, Basque, English, German, Greek and Hindi, all these being meaningful symbols in the universe of Vicente Ferrer.
Interpreters:
The Cor Barcelona Classic Academy -once again with Coral Nova Ègara as its resident choir-, endows the show with a choral mass of more than two hundred voices with all the possible colors: child choir, old people choir, white voices choir, mixed choir and chamber choir.
The Philharmonic Orchestra Centenari broadens this time its staff with new instruments and reaches the number sixty musicians.
Soloists: Tatyana Bogdanchikova, soprano, Roser Ferrer, soprano, Emili Gispert, tenor, Karl Svensson, bass-baritone.
